Former Opa-Locka Police sergeant sentenced after false imprisonment conviction
OPA-LOCKA, Fla. (WSVN) -- A
crooked former Opa-Locka police sergeant learned his fate in court Friday.
A jury found 50-year-old German
Bosque guilty of witness tampering and false imprisonment.
He was sentenced to a year in
prison, four years probation and 500 hours of community service.
Back in August of 2011, Bosque
falsely imprisoned a man who tried to file a complaint against him at the
Opa-Locka Police Station.
Bosque will remain on house
arrest while his lawyers appeal his conviction.
