Welcome to our world Mr. County Executive. Your police force is out of control

Welcome to our world Mr. County Executive. Your police force is out of control

A Fairfax County cop pulled over Fairfax County Executive Bryan Hill for driving without a front license plate on his vehicle…..a state regulation not a county issue and according to Mr. Hill, the cop then became disrespectful and highly unprofessional.

Hill said  "I don’t mind him doing his job, but he was disrespectful. That’s my issue," and, "If I had a badge, he would’ve let me go."

The chief of the Fairfax County cops gang  defended the cop and said no internal action will be taken against him.

"I called the officer on his cell afterwards and told [him] he performed in an exemplary manner consistent with our expectations and training. In short, he did a great job under a tough circumstance that was not created by him."

A Fairfax County Police Department officer was arrested

A Fairfax County Police Department officer was arrested and placed on administrative leave following a domestic assault investigation in McLean, authorities announced Friday.

The incident began Thursday night, October 15, at approximately 9:00 p.m., when officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Sunstone Drive. A verbal argument had escalated into a physical assault, according to the victim's report to the responding officers. The scope of the investigation expanded when officers uncovered reports of additional assaults while on the scene.

Authorities arrested Brandon Moore, 35, of McLean, who has served as a three-year veteran of the department. Moore was actively assigned to the McLean Police District Station.

Moore faces three counts of Assault and Battery of a Family or Household Member.

Detectives also obtained an Emergency Substantial Risk Order (ESRO) following the arrest. The department has placed Moore on administrative leave

Fairfax County police officer, a 23-year veteran on the force charged, accused of shoplifting

Accused officer will retire in lieu of being fired

A Fairfax County Police Department officer faces two counts of misdemeanor shoplifting after, the department says, he shoplifted from two local Target stores.

The two incidents took place on Sept. 22, the police said in a release Friday. Master Police Officer Scott Abram, 44, is accused of using the barcode of a less expensive item to hide the barcode of a more expensive item while checking out of a Target in Burke before exiting the store with both items at around 1 p.m.

Mr. Abram was in uniform and on duty at the time of the first alleged shoplifting incident, police said.

Staff at another Target located at the Springfield Town Center shopping mall alleged that Mr. Abram committed a similar act of shoplifting at their store at around 5 p.m. the same day. At the time, Mr. Abram, a 23-year veteran of the department and a part of the school resource officer unit, was off duty, police said.

Sources familiar with the investigation told WJLA-TV that the merchandise Mr. Abram is accused of shoplifting was Magic: The Gathering trading and playing cards.

The police said that Mr. Abram was put on administrative leave once the department learned about the two incidents. The department told FFXNow that he is going to retire effective next Friday instead of being terminated.

Mr. Abram most recently worked at Hayfield Secondary School in Alexandria, according to WJLA-TV.

Mr. Abram was charged on Thursday and released on criminal summons. The police did not say when he is next due to appear in court.

“I am disheartened that a police officer has betrayed the public trust with these intentional acts of criminal misconduct.  It is unacceptable, and I will not tolerate it,” Fairfax County Police Chief Kevin Davis said in the release.
