Charlotte officer charged with assaulting woman, threats
DAVIDSON, N.C. — A police
officer in Charlotte has been arrested and charged with assault on a female and
communicating threats.
WSOC-TV reported that
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer Hassan Peterson has been placed on paid
administration leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
The charges are related to an
incident that occurred at a residence on Summers Walk Boulevard in Davidson,
according to Charlotte police.
Peterson has been with the
department for 13 years
