Tuscaloosa Police officer arrested in domestic violence investigation
A Tuscaloosa Police officer was arrested Thursday
night on suspicions of domestic violence.
The Tuscaloosa Police Department reports Robert Ashley
Fourt, 56, of Tuscaloosa, was charged with Domestic Violence 3 Criminal
Coercion.
Officers responded to a disturbance call in the 4600
block of East 27th Street about 7:40 p.m. Thursday.
Officers spoke with the victim and suspect and found
probable cause to arrest Fourt on a domestic violence charge.
Fourt has been a Tuscaloosa Police officer since 2003.
He was placed on administrative leave.
