Lakeland cop arrested in Osceola
OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. -
Osceola County deputies said they arrested a
police officer Friday night on suspicion of DUI.
Lakeland police officials said around 11:39
p.m., 41-year-old detective Billy Lane was stopped by deputies at International
Drive and Osceola Parkway.
Lane failed a field sobriety test and was
arrested for suspicion of DUI, authorities said.
Lane was taken to the Osceola County Jail.
Officials said Lane was placed on administrative leave.
He was hired by Lakeland police in 1996
