CPD officer arrested on alleged child molestation charges

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A Columbus police officer was arrested Friday morning, charged with two counts of child molestation.

45 year old Michael Luke Ledford was arrested and booked into Muscogee County Jail on Friday.

Ledford was released from jail on $10,000 bond. His attorney, Richard Hagler, said his client has maintained his innocence.

There are no further information on future court dates at this time.
