A Plano police officer is out
of jail on bond, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Officer Joshua Randall Caussey
was arrested Tuesday by McKinney police, an official with the McKinney Police
Department confirmed Wednesday.
Investigators aren't saying
much about the case, other than that the charge stems from a family violence
incident that happened Aug. 1.
Caussey has been with the Plano
Police Department for 15 years and is assigned to the criminal investigation
division.
