A retired Cincinnati police officer was arrested Sunday while coming into the United States from Canada after police found several screenshot images of child pornography on a camera they searched during a routine border patrol inspection, police said.
Robert Glassmeyer,
61, is charged with possession and transportation of child pornography.
Glassmeyer
appeared in federal court Monday in Detroit and was ordered held there at the
Wayne County Jail as he awaits a detention hearing Wednesday.
Agents searched
Glassmeyer's Cincinnati home Tuesday morning.
