ST. PAUL, Minnesota —
South St. Paul cop Cory Slifkot is accused of driving drunk and then
fleeing police. According to charges filed Friday, a field-sobriety test showed
Cory Slifko had a blood-alcohol level that was twice the legal limit. Slifko is
also accusing of striking mailboxes and gas pumps before a Rosemount police
officer rammed his sports utility vehicle to stop it.

DEARBORN — A third pretrial exam was scheduled for a
suspended cop Anthony Krawczyk accused of drunken driving. Krawczyk, 41, is charged with operating with a
high blood-alcohol content, driving without auto insurance and leaving the
scene of an accident after he was arrested April 20 on Donaldson near Monroe. He
allegedly hit two vehicles and a tree while driving a 2012 Ford Taurus. A
preliminary breath test administered about 45 minutes after police responded
showed Krawczyk’s blood-alcohol level at 0.265 percent, well above the state’s
“super drunk” threshold of 0.17 percent. The drunken-driving limit is 0.08
percent.

Michael Lang, a Jersey City off-duty cop charged with drunk
driving after he gets into fight at gas station. Lang refused to take a Breathalyzer test at
the scene. Lang no longer has access to his police gun and he can only work in
a non-police response capacity pending an administrative hearing. The arrest came on June 9 at about 3:30 a.m.
after Lang and four individuals started fighting inside the Kennedy Boulevard
BP gas station's convenience store.
